3 types of fireproofing paints are commonly used in constructions
Fireproofing paint is a measure of fire protection that is widely applied because of its good efficiency and aesthetics. So what types of fireproof paints are on the market today? Let's find out in the article below!
Fireproofing paint is a type of paint that is applied to materials and works to protect the surface and prevent collapse when there is a fire. Here are 3 types of fire retardant paint that are used a lot.
Nano KoVa Flame Retardant Paint
This is a water-based fireproof paint made from one component, Nano Silicate. When a fire occurs, the paint layer will swell up like a honeycomb and prevent the oxygen in the air from contacting the surface of the material to avoid a large explosion. This coating limits smoke or toxic gases that cause suffocation.
KoVa paint is easy to apply and can work well on many surfaces. This paint can work at temperatures from 800-1200 degrees Celsius for 2-5 hours, depending on the thickness of the coating.

Fireproofing paint KCC Firemask SQ250V
This is a fireproof paint commonly used for factories or buildings using steel structures. This product has outstanding heat insulation ability and has been tested and certified by the Ministry of Fire Prevention and Fighting and the Vietnam Social Security Administration.
The fire resistance time of this paint is extremely varied, usually from 30-150 minutes depending on the thickness of the paint layer. In the event of a fire, the paint will automatically swell into a protective layer.
Fireproofing paint SHP WB
This is a paint developed based on Polyvinyl acetate resin combined with components of phosphorus and nitrogen origin. This paint is friendly and safe for users and the environment. The heat resistance of this paint is from 800-1200 degrees Celsius. Protect the structure of the work from collapsing when the fire temperature is high.
